KEYFRAMES - LUMIERE Festival

Miners Hall - Durham (UK)

Durham Miners Hall was a major building until 1915. In 2013 it became a night club. Miners history is a part of Durham history. KEYFRAMES in Durham talks about it with humor and respect.

Using the principle of movement decomposition, KEYFRAMES will tell the story of a miners coming back from the pit, re-discovering the building.
Sound is a mix of old miners songs, coalmine sounds, struggle and strikes voices, and deep basses coming from inside the disco.
They seems to be more and more on the facade and on the roof. Is there a leader? What does he want?
